-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2013-4606 2013-04-01 02:40:01 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : deja-dup Product : Fedora 18 Version : 26.0 Release : 1.fc18 URL : https://launchpad.net/deja-dup Summary : Simple backup tool and frontend for duplicity Description : Déjà Dup is a simple backup tool. It hides the complexity of doing backups the 'right way' (encrypted, off-site, and regular) and uses duplicity as the backend. Features: • Support for local, remote, or cloud backup locations (Amazon S3 or Rackspace) • Securely encrypts and compresses your data • Incrementally backs up, letting you restore from any particular backup • Schedules regular backups • Integrates well into your GNOME desktop -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Update to Version 26.0 which fixes issues related to full temporary directories. In Fedora 18, /tmp uses tmpfs and has restrictions on space. Deja-dup (duplicity) can use a lot of space for creating backups and this update includes a patch that tries /tmp, /var/tmp and ~/.cache/deja-dup/tmp in that order, preferring a directory on the same partition as the source files. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Sat Mar 30 2013 Kai Engert <[email protected]> - 26.0-1 - Update to 26.0 * Mon Mar 25 2013 Kai Engert <[email protected]> - 24.0-3 - Hide status icon when using Gnome-Shell only.
