-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2013-12286 2013-07-03 23:33:04 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : gappa Product : Fedora 19 Version : 0.18.0 Release : 1.fc19 URL : http://gappa.gforge.inria.fr/ Summary : Prove programs with floating-point or fixed-point arithmetic Description : Gappa is a tool intended to help verifying and formally prove properties on numerical programs and circuits handling floating-point or fixed-point arithmetic. This tool manipulates logical formulas stating the enclosures of expressions in some intervals. Through the use of rounding operators as part of the expressions, Gappa is specially designed to deal with formulas that could appear when certifying numerical codes. In particular, Gappa makes it simple to bound computational errors due to floating-point arithmetic. The tool and its documentation were written by Guillaume Melquiond. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Upstream notes for gappa 0.18.0: * main interface - removed option -Mexpensive - added more details to -Mstatistics * proof graph - improved performances - improved proof simplification * Coq back-end - fixed incorrect theorem name for square root Upstream notes for gappalib-coq 0.21.0: - added support for Gappa 0.18.0 - added handling of formats to the tactic Upstream notes for gappalib-coq 0.21.1: - fixed build for the tarball and the tactic -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Wed Jul 3 2013 Jerry James <[email protected]> - 0.18.0-1 - New upstream version -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
