The most obvious example of potential usage is in media center type applications. We hope however it can be used for a lot more. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: This update adds initial support for running GNOME Shell as a Wayland compositor. Most important would be to verify that this doesn't regress the X11 backend. The Wayland backend is a bit hard to test at the moment because XWayland packages are still missing and the current GDM version doesn't support launching Wayland sessions. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
