-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2013-19728 2013-10-23 02:07:40 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : libsoup Product : Fedora 19 Version : 2.42.2 Release : 5.fc19 URL : http://live.gnome.org/LibSoup Summary : Soup, an HTTP library implementation Description : Libsoup is an HTTP library implementation in C. It was originally part of a SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) implementation called Soup, but the SOAP and non-SOAP parts have now been split into separate packages. libsoup uses the Glib main loop and is designed to work well with GTK applications. This enables GNOME applications to access HTTP servers on the network in a completely asynchronous fashion, very similar to the Gtk+ programming model (a synchronous operation mode is also supported for those who want it). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Fixes a hang, in particular with certain audio streams in Rhythmbox -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Sun Sep 29 2013 Dan Winship <[email protected]> - 2.42.2-5 - Fix hang on early close with streaming API * Fri Aug 16 2013 David Woodhouse <[email protected]> - 2.42.2-3 - Fix NTLM auth fallback (BGO#703186) - Close connection properly on message cancel (#1007321) * Fri Jul 12 2013 Dan Winship <[email protected]> - 2.42.2-2 - Add patch to fix hangs with SoupSessionSync (#976529 et al) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #1013128 - Can't play antenne bayern webstream https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1013128 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
