I have python modules in my python-barbican rpms that was built from this. While not BuildRequires, there are requires on oslo config and messaging attached to python-barbican. Adding them as BR didn't change the output of the build. 2: Done, and converted rest to use these macros 3: Added conditional to be removed when all the other juno specific bits are removed. python-pbr is already required. 4, 5: done 6: That was an artifact from when this was first created.
