Description: Ardour is a multi-channel digital audio workstation, allowing
users to record, edit, mix and master audio and MIDI projects. It is targeted
at audio
engineers, musicians, soundtrack editors and composers.

NB: This is major version 4 of ardour, and installable in parallel to the
legacy versions 2 and 3 (ardour and ardour3 respectively). We keep the old
versions around to ensure maximum compatibility when handling sessions created
by these old versions, but users should use the latest version for new
sessions.
