Of course this functionality is valid only for non-Fedora distribution. As from f22 and higher, golang package will no longer provide its macros (so no gopath macro as well). However, it has to be made sure the macro is present on non-Fedora distros. This is not the final use case. However, it does not depend on go-compilers package so it can be discussed independently.
