Are we having Fedora-level problems where this isn't always true?  I'm used to
comparing md5sums when locally building to verify security-related packages. 
Not super-recently, though; wondering if there's been breakage. We had issues
dealing with ugly buildroots on CentOS 6, but I thought this was all straight
at this point.
