Please consider to remove the below. - %{gem_instdir}/spec/ - %{gem_instdir}/Gemfile - %{gem_instdir}/Gemfile.lock - %{gem_instdir}/Rakefile Note that for spec/ directory, curret ruby guideline requests that test files should not be packaged: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Ruby?rd=Packaging/Ruby#Running_test_suites See "Do not ship tests".
