It should be properly placed to /usr/share (and this location was documented early), but this is not work now - there is a bug in Mozilla's bugtracker [2]. > Right now upstream install scripts put the mozilla files in /usr/lib64 Those files are placed to platform provide libdir because of Mozilla's bug 1318461. I will change location to /usr/share as soon as this bug will be resolved. If distro rules allow to use "lib" as platform independent directory - I recommend to use it.
