But the error you are getting is bizarre, because CMake says that both gcc and g++ are found: -- The C compiler identification is GNU 8.2.1 -- The CXX compiler identification is GNU 8.2.1 and that there is a /usr/bin/cc (which is normally provided by gcc), but that /usr/bin/cc is producing output that the assembler does not understand.
