Can you take bug 1753084?  It should be an easy review (famous last words).

I think that's fine.  I also think that the reason for requiring the "python-"
prefix applies to this package, even though it isn't a traditional library.  If
there is ever a python 4, then this package will need dual subpackages for
python3 and python4 just as much as traditional libraries do.
