Description:
jc is a command line tool that takes the output of dozens of commands and
converts it into JSON for easier parsing downstream.
https://github.com/kellyjonbrazil/jc.
I have packaged it into an RPM available here:
https://jc-packages.s3-us-west-1.amazonaws.com/latest/jc.rpm. I am the
developer of jc and this is my first time submitting a project for
consideration so I'm sure I've made mistakes, but I'm willing to work through
them. I created the package using fpm, so I don't have a spec, but I do have
the output of rpm -q:
rpm -q -i -p dist/jc-1.10.5.rpm
Name : jc
Version : 1.10.5
Release : 1
Architecture: x86_64
Install Date: (not installed)

Summary : This tool serializes the output of popular gnu linux command line
tools and file types to structured JSON output
Description :
This tool serializes the output of popular gnu linux command line tools and
file types to structured JSON output
and here are the files:
rpm -q -l -p dist/jc-1.10.5.rpm
/usr/local/bin/jc
This is a python app that is compiled to a binary using pyoxidizer. The binary
seems to be compatible with a broad range of linux distributions, including
debian 8, ubuntu, centOS 7, etc.
