Summary: Review Request: audio-entropyd - Audio entropy daemon https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=667286 Summary: Review Request: audio-entropyd - Audio entropy daemon Product: Fedora Version: rawhide Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: medium Priority: medium Component: Package Review AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [email protected] QAContact: [email protected] CC: [email protected], [email protected] Estimated Hours: 0.0 Classification: Fedora Spec URL: http://ivazquez.fedorapeople.org/packages/audio-entropyd/audio-entropyd.spec SRPM URL: http://ivazquez.fedorapeople.org/packages/audio-entropyd/audio-entropyd-2.0.1-1.src.rpm Description: This program feeds the /dev/random device with entropy-data read from an audio device. The audio-data is not copied as is but first 'de-biased' and analysed to determine how much bits of entropy is in it. This program is usefull for systems doing lots of cryptographic stuff like VPN endpoints or GPG clients; it helps preventing that the /dev/random device gets depleted and blocks reads. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ package-review mailing list [email protected] https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/package-review
