No, just closing the bugs is all you need to do.

I'm trying to keep on top of the latest releases for popular crates.
lock_api should now be available with the required version.

For other packages, you can look at https://bugz.fedoraproject.org/rust-$CRATE
if there's already a bug reported for the new version.
Commenting there makes sure that I know somebody is waiting for a newer version
of that crate than what's available on Fedora, and I can put it at the top of
my TODO list.
