The xgettext patch is to work around a bug I've not yet totally run to ground. I'll send upstream if appropriate. Additionally, this is my first %autorelease/%autochangelog attempt. This seems like something that will work well inside a fedpkg repo, but I'm working on this in a simple rpmbuild tree.
