--- Comment #3 from Davide Cavalca <[email protected]> --- I'm not convinced that the static binary is actually an issue in this case -- the way the build system is setup, it appears to link the objects directly, so it's probably not just a matter of switching it over to the shared library, they're treated as separate targets.
