It's outdated, but nevertheless conflicts with this package. It als has the naming expected for this package according to the naming guidelines: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/Naming/ You can reach out to Javier. I put him in the needinfo. Maybe he's willing to update python-confluent-kafka or make you co-maintainer. Does this package explicitly depend on librdkafka-1.6.1? Looking at the spec file there's no version dependency on librdkafka-devel in BuildRequires.
