Petr Menšík <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Flags|needinfo?([email protected] |needinfo?(jakub.ruzicka@nic |om) |.cz) --- Comment #12 from Petr Menšík <[email protected]> --- What kind of access does root needs to other users' files? What does root need to do with those files? Would it be possible if the running service did such access on root's behalf, where it would already have the group in question? Is that requirement described somewhere in documentation? What exactly it creates in /dev/shm for root user and for unprivileged users? And in which cases it needs access from root user to files created by other users? Sounds like strange use-case. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are always notified about changes to this product and component You are on the CC list for the bug. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2088450 _______________________________________________ package-review mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
