However, I want to point out a note of clarification: the deps directory does not necessarily imply it's third-party code. Some of it is common code between the frontend and backend components. That said, I've attempted to address this as much as possible. However, I'm not switching the conditionals from "! with" to "without" because I've experienced issues with that in the past.
