I think thewas probably I got ahead of myself and did a 'git push' before the
first 'fedpkg import'. When then 'fedpkg import' didn't work because of an
error about autochangelog/autorelease, I manually pushed the other changes as
well until I got it into a state where I could 'fedpkg import', which only
worked after I removed those macros entirely.

I understand it corrently now that typically if you make an update to include a
new build, you build the SRPM with 'fedpkg mockbuild' first, then do 'fedpkg
import' which will also push the change to the repository?
