Adding %undefine _ld_as_needed to the spec file as suggested at https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/redhat-rpm-config//blob/rawhide/f/buildflags.md#keeping-dependencies-on-unused-shared-objects does not help reduce the undefined warnings.
