I think the second patch should be made when doing rust2rpm -p, so it has common format. That is unfortunately a MUST for Rust packages. Read that at bottom of: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/Rust/#_rust2rpm Nice, I were to suggest creation of rust2rpm.toml, but did not know how to correctly add extra patches. Fabio is much better with Rust tooling.
