I have made significant progress in Hare packaging, including automatic dependency management with an upstream patch series awaiting a review to make a %hare_buildrequires macro work (for the %generate_buildrequires step). I have also the beginning of Hare-specific macros for other steps (%prep, %build etc). I started a self-contained change for f42 but between the lack of activity in the private email thread and my limited spare time I wasn't able to complete my submission in time.
