--- Comment #44 from Bernhard Kaindl <[email protected]> ---
@Artur Frenszek-Iwicki, please proceed with getting this into Fedora.

fftrace is still a great tool, but my available time budget for the review was
exhausted.

Probably omit the test report to avoid comments about it.

You have my consent to take anything you want from my submission, but of
course, I'd like to be credited in your submission, if you don't mind. But it
is not a requirement.

As Benson Muite wrote, the check for shared-library-without-dependency should
now be removed from the checks; this should unblock the dlopen()ed plugin used
by uftrace for tracing:
https://github.com/rpm-software-management/rpmlint/issues/969

One issue I anticipated was that, as I understood, even after the review
passes, the package still requires a Red Hat engineer or another Fedora member
with the proper privileges to merge it into Fedora; I saw some Fedora page
indicating this.

@Benson Muite, could you provide an update on the process for merging after the
review is passed, and who to contact to add the package to Fedora proper to
actually proceed with this beyond review?
