Juan Manuel Méndez Rey <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment|0 |updated --- Comment #0 has been edited --- Spec URL: https://codeberg.org/mendezr/xwpe/raw/branch/main/xwpe.spec SRPM URL: https://download.copr.fedorainfracloud.org/results/mendezr/xwpe/fedora-rawhide-x86_64/10622849-xwpe/xwpe-1.6.6-1.fc*.src.rpm Copr build (rawhide, F44, F43 : all succeeded): https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/build/10622849 Description: xwpe (the X Windows Programming Environment) is a programming and text editor in the style of the Borland Turbo C IDE of the early 1990s. A single binary runs in four modes chosen by the program name: wpe and we in the console (ncurses), xwpe and xwe under X11 with anti-aliased Xft/Cairo rendering, UTF-8 and color emoji. It pairs a syntax-highlighting editor with a Borland-style menu and dialog system, project management, compiler integration for many languages (C/C++, Fortran, Pascal, Java, Python, Perl, COBOL, LaTeX) and source-level debugging through gdb, jdb and pdb. Originally written by Fred Kruse (1993), maintained by Dennis Payne (2000-2006), and revived upstream in 2026. Also packaged in Debian (team-maintained; in unstable as of 1.6.3-1). Fedora Account (FAS): mendezr This is my first Fedora package and I am seeking a sponsor. Builds clean in mock for rawhide/f44/f43 (COPR). fedora-review: no blockers. I also installed the built RPM in a Fedora 44 environment and ran the upstream test suites against the installed binaries: 134 console (pyte) tests and 58 headless-X11 GUI tests, all passing. Licensing: the program is GPL-2.0-only -- COPYING ships the GPLv2 text and the source headers reference it with no "or later" clause. licensecheck also reports GPLv3+/GPLv2+, but only on build tooling not shipped in the binary (build-aux/missing, the Texinfo macros build-aux/texinfo.tex and docs/texinfo.tex). Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are always notified about changes to this product and component You are on the CC list for the bug. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2486113 -- _______________________________________________ package-review mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://forge.fedoraproject.org/infra/tickets/issues/new
