Bug ID: 2528345
Summary: RFP: ssh-tpm-agent - SSH agent with TPM 2.0 support
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
URL: https://github.com/Foxboron/ssh-tpm-agent
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Component: Package Review
Keywords: RFE
Severity: medium
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]

Target Milestone: ---

ssh-tpm-agent is an ssh-agent compatible program that uses a TPM 2.0 as the key
storage. It allows users to securely use TPM-backed SSH keys with standard
OpenSSH clients, providing hardware isolation without the complexity of PKCS#11
modules.
Upstream: https://github.com/Foxboron/ssh-tpm-agent
License: Apache-2.0
Language: Go
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Attempt to install ssh-tpm-agent via dnf on Fedora/Rawhide.
Actual Results:
Package is not currently available in Fedora repositories.
Expected Results:
Package is available in the official Fedora repositories.
Additional Information:
Pre-compiled binaries and upstream development are actively maintained by
Foxboron. The project would benefit users on modern hardware, especially on
Fedora Silverblue / Kinoite / Bazzite systems where hardware-backed SSH key
security is desirable.
