Try 1> backout the latest patch 2> add BuildRequires: automake Also if you add "BuildRequires: protobuf-c-devel" the program will be able to process .pbf files. Finally there is an upstream OSM Ticket #3457 "default.style location" which should be fixed with the attached modified osm2pgsql-makefile.patch file.
