Hi,

as you know, packaging is a moving target ;-) I did some changes in preparation to better handle the testing builds we are doing.

1. Nightly builds
There is a new repository isv:ownCloud:community:nightly which contains nightly builds of both server and client packages. The former repo for client nightlies (which was isv:ownCloud:devel:daily) will be erased soon.

2. Changes to packages
If changes have to be done to the packages in the release repos they always have to be "ported" to the nightly repos as well. In the future, we will copy the nightly packages to the release repos when we do releases, so its important to do the "development" in nightly as they get tested that way.

3. debian tarball
We do not want to use the debian.tar.gz tarball in packages any more because our Jenkins integration script that patches the files for nightly builds does not work with the tarballs.

More changes are in front of us, I'll keep you posted.

As usual I am looking forward to hearing your comments, suggestions and ideas.

Klaas
