New: I am using a debian style version number 7.0.1~rc1 for all deb
and most rpm based distribution. Fedora and Centos-6 disallow this,
here we use 7.0.1-0.x.y.rc1 instead.
This trick schould help to assure smooth update to the final 7.0.1 --
please let me know if this works as planned.
