Hi Antony. The xenserver builder is a third party plugin so most of the core Packer maintainers don't have much experience with it. since you think there's an issue with how this plugin communicates with the xenserver API, I think this is probably a question best asked of the people who maintain the xenserver plugin, maybe through an issue on github.
