Although what I'm trying to do is specific to vSphere, I am open to hear if such functional is available for alternative LInux hypervisors such as Proxmox for example, because the hypervisor in my case is not yet set in stone.
Currently I have a vsphere, and I want to use packer to install a system from ISO to an existing virtual machine. ATM I am creating a new VM via `vsphere-iso` plugin, and it works fine barring the fact the new VM is created. How can I similarly install an ISO to a VM, but without creating a new VM, instead by re-using an existing one? -- This mailing list is governed under the HashiCorp Community Guidelines - https://www.hashicorp.com/community-guidelines.html.
