Hi everyone,
It looks like there is no facility to add a node via the WebGUI in
PF4...since I'd really like this feature, and I'd like to contribute to PF,
this seems like a good feature for me to start with.
I've not used Template Toolkit before (I'm more of a Django guy), but it
looks reasonably straightforward. Before I started on trying to hack this
in, I have a few questions:
1) Will this be added in soon enough (within a few weeks) that I might as
well just wait, or would it be useful for me to take a crack at it?
2) I noticed that there is a commented out link called Create in nodes.tt.
Is this intended for adding nodes? If so, is the design of the
functionality already decided? My thought was to have a form where the
Simple/Advanced search tabs are now, however it looks like that div is
hard-coded in. It looks like you use Bootstrap, so perhaps a popup window?
3) Is the intended flow to just call pfcmd new with the form values, or
should it insert a new record in the DB directly?
