Hi Guys,
I'm working right now in integrate snort 2.9.4.1 with packetfence 3.3.2,
the newest version of snort doesn't use the output plugin to log to MySQL
database, in that sense you need to use barnyard2 and the unified2 format
to do the same procedure. My problem is when I start snort under control of
packetfence is not possible to obtain any logs in unified2 format and is
because the pfcmd start snort in daemon mode under the user pf and with
this particular option '-N', which means that no any kind of logs.
Are you aware of this in the newest deployments of packetfence?
If yes where I can change, the command structure for not use the option
'-N' in packetfence's code.
