Hello PF Devs! A while back I wrote a little bit of code to enable PF to act on SNORT alerts it receives from Security Onion (SO), which is an awesome Linux NSM distro.
I received an email today that the request had been closed and thereby, presumably, denied. I would like to see the ability to integrate SO and PF as I believe the two technologies very much compliment each other. I am not asking for any explanation and I take full responsibility for the crappy-ness of my code. However, if someone could let me know the general expectations the PF dev team has for contributions as well as what the devs would like to see in an integration package I would very much appreciate it. PF is an amazing project and I would like to contribute if I can.
