There doesn’t appear to be a way to do maths by using those functions.

I’d need to do following:
1116%16=12 (C)
1116/16=69
69%16=5
69/16=4
4%16=4
0/16=0

1116 = 45C

It’s something that’s easy to do as part of a function. But, it doesn’t look
like radius has any mathematical operations available to it. And the available
functions all appear to be string manipulation. So, doing this in the context
of a radius return or a switch template, seems problematic. As it would add
milliseconds to the radius return time.

Maybe this is something that they are looking at adding for their VXLan
support. Who knows.

But, I do think that I am in the minority of PacketFence users that run
Nortel/Avaya/Extreme ERS switches, most of the people that are in the group
appear to be running Cisco switches. So, the time/cost value to add something,
specifically for Nortel/Avaya/Extreme ERS switches, likely isn’t there, unless
I wanted to pay for it. And what I’m doing now works fine, just adds a little
bit of time when I add a new VLAN.

Cheers,
Chris

Hello Chris,

Did you try to use functions available with Switch templates [1] ?
