Hello Chad If you want to do that, create the Mac address in PacketFence, register it and assign a role.
For you side question, 802.1x is preferred because it’s the most secure but not all devices supports it and you need to push a config to them so they use the proper 802.1x authentication (EAP PEAP vs EAP TLS) Thanks, Ludovic Zammit Product Support Engineer Principal Lead Cell: +1.613.670.8432 Akamai Technologies - Inverse 145 Broadway Cambridge, MA 02142 Connect with Us: <https://community.akamai.com/> <http://blogs.akamai.com/> <https://twitter.com/akamai> <http://www.facebook.com/AkamaiTechnologies> <http://www.linkedin.com/company/akamai-technologies> <http://www.youtube.com/user/akamaitechnologies?feature=results_main> > On Jun 28, 2023, at 3:55 PM, Chad Boese via PacketFence-users > <packetfence-users@lists.sourceforge.net> wrote: > > I am trying to setup a Authentication Source with the Condition Mac Address > equals the mac address ( 6c:00:00:00:00:00).
