Hi All, I am trying to do EAP-MD5 authentication for some of my older phones using openldap. I have followed the instructions in the Installation Guide, specifically this chapter -> *16.3. EAP Authentication against OpenLDAP* and also gone through the mailing list. However, I have not succeeded and would appreciate some further guidance. Additionally, I have done the below: 1. Created the OpenLDAP db and defined one phone account with a clear text password. 2. In Packetfence, under System Configuration -> RADIUS -> EAP Profiles, I have added a new EAP profile which has EAP-MD5 as the default EAP. I have created a new REALM that uses this EAP-MD5 profile.
Now, whenever the test phone I am using tries to authenticate, the error logged in the radius log file is *Login incorrect (eap_md5: Cleartext-Password is required for EAP-MD5 authentication): [anonymized_username].* Can anyone give me some hints on what I may be getting wrong? Thank you.
