Running PacketFence 14 on Debian 12 with a Huawei S5720 switch (10.0.0.1).
SNMP polling works—snmpwalk shows ARP data (e.g., 10.0.0.2 =
aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff), and it’s in ip4log. But the *Nodes* UI doesn’t display
it automatically, and *Online* shows “unknown” even after manual adds.

switches.conf file

[10.0.0.1]
type=Huawei::S5720
SNMPCommunityRead=public
SNMPCommunityWrite=private
SNMPVersion=2c
arp_polling=enabled
polling_interval=300

snmpwalk -v2c -c public 10.0.0.1 .1.3.6.1.2.1.3.1.1.2 works. from the
debian, packetfence server

however Im not sure the packetfence is getting it or something with
analysis , it is not displaying it on the UI , The UI online status is
unknown and i cant get the bandwidth and other detail of the device
connected to my network
