Hi Guys,

Sent below message and have some updates.

After thoroughly checking the configuration, it was found that in *System
Configuration > General Configuration > General*, the settings for domain
and hostname had reset to PacketFence defaults.

This caused the error on user devices due to the mismatch of our
certificate domain name and the default packetfence one.

It is unknown how this "default" happened, it looked exactly like when
running the Configurator during the original install. The site had worked
fine for years!

Original part of post (The error):

*This connection is not private. This website maybe impersonating
packetfence.packetfence.org <http://packetfence.packetfence.org> to steal
your personal information.*

This was resolved once correcting the cause.

The other issue, which I somehow thought was related, causes errors in the
logs too, but does not seem to impackt anything.

The IP address showing up is: 66.70.255.147
That resolves to: 147.255.70.66.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer
setup.mts.ca.
Entering a lookup gives this: Host setup.mts.ca not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

The IP address above is used under Advanced Access Configuration > Portal >
IP Address.

Will this cause any issues when the "setup.mts.ca" does not resolve?

Tony
