OK, User is working, I had a bad certificate configuration for my Android devices which caused them to return an incorrect name - this is fixed.
It would seem that my machines are properly doing the group lookup? In the packetfencelog I was able to find errors concerning failed to obtain groups for X which is how I discovered my cert issue for the users. I also have a single machine giving that error which is correct. The rest of my machines seem to not display this. Would be interested to see what is being returned as groups though. I suspect that it is not assigning the new role based on the membership however. Any configurations that would stop this or cause it to perform this? Seems I also may have an issue with my user groups also not showing. Both of these were working. It appears as if they are not being re-evaluated as older users still come up correctly.
