It should be possible but it will be harder. Grab the RPM spec file[1] 
to see a list of all the dependencies. There are many.

Manually install the dependencies (using CPAN for the perl ones) and 
then extract the source tarball in /usr/local/ then run installer.pl (in 
pf/) and it should be a good start.

If you are willing to try it out and share your findings, I will be more 
than happy to assist you. Please post your findings and questions on the 
packetfence-devel mailing list.
