What does a packet capture look like? Are you sure that your SNMP settings are correct? Id the SNMP community read only?

I have a managed switch, if I plug in a pc pf gets the snmp trpas and moves the interface into vlan 103 in my case. Once the mac is learned it never does anything else so my device doesnt get an ip from the registration vlan.
