Hello everyone, Quick note: RPMforge release an update to fix some issue with the Perl SOAP Lite module, unfortunately, this update breaks the packetfence perl process.
Basically, If you run a simple <yum update> on any CentOS 5.X, it will automatically update the perl-SOAP-Lite package but, will also break your packetfence installation. Resolution: Until someone at RPMForge fix this dependency, you must install manually the perl Class Inspector package before restarting your packetfence server... command to run after an update: yum install perl-Class-Inspector.noarch Regards, Marc, Inverse bugs: http://www.packetfence.org/bugs/view.php?id=1194 package: perl-SOAP-Lite-0.712-1.el5.rf.noarch.rpm, perl-Class-Inspector-1.24-1.el5.rf.noarch.rpm Name : perl-SOAP-Lite Relocations: (not relocatable) Version : 0.712 Vendor: Dag Apt Repository, http://dag.wieers.com/apt/ Release : 1.el5.rf Build Date: Wed 23 Feb 2011 10:43:42 AM EST -- Marc-Andre Jutras [email protected] :: +1.514.447.4918 (x110) :: http://www.inverse.ca Inverse inc. :: Leaders behind SOGo (www.sogo.nu) and PacketFence (www.packetfence.org) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Free Software Download: Index, Search & Analyze Logs and other IT data in Real-Time with Splunk.
