Page 17 of Zen PF V2.1 mentioned the following. How can I test this ?.
Is Vlan 2 (registration vlan) is layer 2 only ?
PF Zen---trunk---ESX Virtual Switch----ESX physical NIC---Trunk-Core
Router---Trunk---Production SW---trunk---Test 2960----test laptop
Test laptop can communicate with PF in eth0.10 and eth0.5 (vlan 5 and 10
are config as Lay3)
So far I configured as the Lay 2 (Is it right ?). Assigned static IP on
Laptop and plug into switch port (with switch port access vlan 2). Ping
will not work if it is layer 2 will it ?
make sure the device in VLAN 2 can communicate with PacketFence through
(and only through) eth0.2
