Ben,

Two options :
- Using vSphere client, File --> Deploy OVF Template, and then select 
your ovf.  It must be on the same PC that runs vSphere Client.
- Transfert the .vmdk in your datastore, create a new VM using an 
existing disk, and select that vmdk.
