Hi,
is it possible to get the session based mode working, I already tried
window mode, but
this also doesn't seem to work because no registered client turns to
unregistered after
any time.
Session expire mode won't work in vlan or inline mode. Expire window
should have worked. Make sure you have, in pf.conf :
[registration]
expire_mode=window
expire_window=1d
That should unreg all people that registered *AFTER* that config change
on the next day. For those that are *ALREADY* registered, nothing will
be done to them.
Another thing is, the drive of my workstation which hosts the mysql
database is going crazy
after restarting packetfence. Is it possible to make the sql queries a
bit more precise instead
of updating all tables.
What kind of machine you have? We noticed that we were a little more
hard on IO on the new versions, we are working on that. However, any
patches are welcomed.
P.S.: Because of my mysql database not being on the same host, I had to
make a little adjustment
of the file
pf/html/admin/status/sajax-dashboard.php
on line 78 and added the hostname
Hmm... you are right. the -h statement is missing there... good catch!
