Hi,
I am using* packetfence v2.2.1*. I have installed the* ZEN* version
of it inside *VMWare workstation 8*. I have connected *cisco 2960* switch
with all the VLAN and SNMP(*port security*) configurations done. Vlan
1(management VLAN) was assigned to port fa0/1 and it was configured as
trunk port.
I want to create a* test network* were say 3 systems(Desktop/ laptop
with Windows/Ubuntu 11.04) is to to connected to the network, were i have
only 1 switch. I assigned 2 port (say fa0/3, fa0/4) to VLAN 10 and
connected 2 systems with corresponding MAC address and IP address on to
each. I am able to make those 2 systems to ping each other(i.e; VLAN 10 is
working). While both are unable to ping xxx.xxx.x.10, which is the IP of
any of the server within the pfZEN.
Please address this issue of mine......... I am unable to proceed
because of this.
