Hi, I just committed support for stacked Cisco 3750 in MAC-Auth or 802.1X mode.
This support could be broadly applied to more Cisco hardware if we knew the behavior of said hardware which we, unfortunately, don't have any here. So, if any of you have access to stackable Cisco switches (like the 2960S) and would be willing to share some information, I would gadly extend our support for said stacked Cisco's. What I'm looking for is the NAS-Port information sent in the RADIUS Access-Request packet and their relation to the ifIndex on the same switch. The behavior on the 3750 is the following: NAS-Port => ifIndex '50101' => '10101', stack 1 port 1 '50128' => '10128', stack 1 port 28 '50201' => '10601', stack 2 port 1 '50228' => '10628', stack 2 port 28 '50301' => '11101', stack 3 port 1 '50328' => '11128', stack 3 port 28 Anyone can confirm this is the same elsewhere?
