I am new to Packetfence.
In our campus network used all devices from Extreme network like (bd 8810
Modular Expansion base L3 switch, Summit X150, Summit X350) and 50 number
vlans with multiple subnetmask .
Summit X150 L2 Switch - ExtremeXOS Image version 12.4.1.7
Summit X350 L2 Switch - ExtremeXOS Image Version 12.4.2.17
Network (192.168.1.0/24) dedicated to Server farm and Network
(192.168.10.0/23) dedicated to switch management.
I have Installed packetfence on IBM xSeries@365, IntelRXeonT Dual CPU
2.80GHz, 8.00GB RAM, Hard disk 73.4GB x 2
with 4 numbers physical nics.
I have a query regarding vlan & network interface configuration.
Can I use 4 number of physical nics ?
Eth0 for Management with network (192.168.1.0/24)
Eth1 for Registration with network (192.168.5.0/24)
Eth2 for Isolation with network (192.168.6.0/24)
Eth3 for Intrusion detection (monitor)
If yes, then any changes is require and in which files or Perl module and
what are the changes?
